photography session fees:

Photo sessions require a deposit of 50% of the session fee at the time of booking.  Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the session.  In the event of a cancellation, the deposit will be forwarded to a new session date which must be scheduled at the time of cancellation.  Turnaround time for prints is 1 week from the date you choose your photos and 3 days for digital images.

fashion photography pricing

I work with several fashion designers in the Los Angles area and provide photography for their clothing and accessory lines.   In the highly competitive fashion industry it is important to have your collections look the way you designed it.  Many times the images you show on your website or in your look book are all potential customers see of your designs, rarely do they see the actual garment or accessory.  If the images are not exceptional, your sales could suffer.  I photograph most of my fashion work in downtown Los Angeles, either in my studio or in a number of city locations.  I can also photograph on location in an environment that showcases your clothing or accessory line.  My goal is to visually communicate the message and vision of a client's design, not force my photographic style onto them.  I will, however, provide direction on what I think will produce the best results.

Before we meet to take any photographs, I will speak with you to discuss the details of the session and your expectations, including any special requests or specific looks you want to capture.  Location, backdrops and props will also be discussed at this time.

My hourly rate for most fashion photography is $150.00 an hour and my day rate (8 hours) is $1,000.00.  Geographic coverage include locations within a 25 mile radius of downtown Los Angeles.  Additional travel charges may apply if the location is beyond a 25 mile radius.  

I also provide design and layout services for company logos , look books, promotional materials such as mailers, line cards, postcards, business cards and flyers.  Working with clients on the photographic side of a project also allows me to provide the services associated with promotional material to complete the launch of a new collection.  I have extensive experience with the latest design and publishing software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite 2 and Microsoft Publisher.  My design rate for most projects is $85.00 per hour.  I also offer discounts if I am providing both photography and design services on a project.

portrait / lifestyle photography pricing

I provide custom, on location, portrait / lifestyle photography in the Los Angeles area.  When photographing portraits and lifestyle images I prefer a spontaneous interaction with my subjects to create an image that is personal, with a natural look and feel.  I find that photographing in familiar settings helps many clients relax and feel more comfortable, which in my opinion produce the best results. I will travel to your home or we can meet at a specified location such as the beach, in the mountains, one of the many botanical gardens in the Los Angeles area, or a location of your choosing.  I prefer to use natural lighting in my portraits, but a studio environment is also available in downtown Los Angeles.  Before we meet to take any photographs, I will speak with you to discuss the details of the session and your expectations, including any special requests.  We will also discuss wardrobe and accessory considerations.

Portfolio images for the aspiring model or actor are extremely important when working, or trying to get work, in the entertainment industry.  I will provide you with photographs with the look and style that are necessary to get noticed by casting directors and modeling agents.  I also work very closely with a number of fashion designers that are always looking for fresh faces to model their clothing.  I will also feature select models on this site in a special monthly promotion to help propel them to the next level.  Most of my model work is photographed in my studio located in the fashion district in downtown LA.  I can also photograph on location if that is the look you desire.

sports photography pricing

I provide stunning images of individual athletes as they compete in a number of different sporting events.  During a sports photography session I only photograph the athlete I have been hired to cover.  I like to get a schedule of games in advance so I can coordinate my schedule and have an opportunity to choose the best conditions for photographing.  If it is a one time event, please contact me so we can discuss it further.  Before the sporting event, I will speak with you to discuss the details of the session and your expectations, including any special requests.

print pricing

This price structure is for portrait / lifestyle, sports clients and images from the preview page.  There are additional session pricing for portraits and individual sports assignments (see above).  Images are printed in color with a glossy finish.  If you would like images printed in black and white or with a matte finish please indicate in the comments section of the order form.  Digital  images are formatted to the size chosen at a resolution of 300 dpi.
